Those Chinese take nice pictures. I'll give them that!

I ran across those. Not that I was looking for them. Thing that tips you off that they are Chinese is they list the same product under like 5 different ebay accounts but all are shipping from the same location/city.

The whole Chinese thing is a double edged sword. If it were for China 1/2 the US wouldn't have Walmart and target to shop at. BUT that why 1/2 the population has to work for 3rd world country wages now and can only shop at Walmart.

I bought a set of those in Dec. 2019 for $255 shipped. They seemed well made but the parts were just loose in the box. The ends of two of the Heim joints got beat up banging around in there. So I had to buy metric left-hand and right-hand fine thread dies to chase the threads. I'll probably never use the dies again, either.

Also, the factory did not protect the female threads in the bars when welding, so there was all kinds of spatter adhered to the threads. Next I had to buy a tap to chase THOSE threads. It definitely cut into the savings some.

Aside from that rolleyes they bolted right on and seem to be working. Will find out if they're as strong as they look after some WOT launches though drive
Next time I'd just buy the real thing. twocents

By the time a majority of people figure this out, it will already be too late. We will be a 2nd-rate power in every sense of the word.

China has made no secret of their grand strategy--but people in the US are too busy fighting amongst ourselves to pay attention...

That's what mine are. $100 in materials. I did use Calvert split mono leafsprings, though.

The cal trac bars are a great value, they have quality parts, and quality construction. Mine are 22 years old or more, still look brand new if I wipe them down. I can totally understand people making their own, lots of people do that with a wide variety of items, myself included. I have a hard time justifying buying a knock off of something like this, maybe it is because I remember when they came out, and that it is a real racer who created and makes these things?
