Seeking James Rose In The Detroit, MI Area - 12/09/20 12:17 AM

Just checking to see if anyone is familiar with a James Rose in the Detroit, Mi area.

He purchased a Duster race car from me in the mid 90's. I have tried all of the normal search avenues with no success.

James is/was known as a street racer preferring big block Mopars, and my info is that he installed one in the car not long after purchasing it from me.

I retained the fender tag, as it was not important to him.

Any help appreciated!

Go to: https://www.zabasearch.com/

There are numerous James Rose's in Michigan. Try to guess his age now and reach out to them.

Many moons ago James bought the Silver Bullet from me after I had it for a year. I never would have sold it IF previous owner had not changed the quarter panels.

I talked to James about 2 years ago ... I think he’s in the Warren area

My Super Stock car (originally a 71, VS29H1B394815, but updated to 73 front sheetmetal and taillights, plus Feather Duster hood and decklid) was sold to Frank Boyd in 1996, then subsequently to James Rose. Full roll cage. Dana 60. Ladder bar car. The car was definitely repainted (color unknown) and a very large B1 big block was installed. No other current info, other than a Sean Johnson, also in the Detroit area, had informed me of the sale from Frank to James.

Any current contact info for James (or Sean) would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Could it be this Jim Rose? Lots of them out there. Article says he is from Ohio. Just something I came across.

Probably not likely.

Always known as James, not Jim or Jimmy. But apparently had multiple Mopars over the years. Primarily a street racer.

Some information has come forward from Doc Fiberglass that he may reside in the Warren or Fraser area.

Anyone that frequents Mancini Performance or Roseville Chrysler remember this gentleman?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
