Someone used two 450 wheel rim shells to make a pair of small bolt ralley wheels.
Check the pictures , I thought really. Wonder if they were made a long time ago.

There was place outside of denver, motor wheel I think. Buick wheels, 450s, and 15x7 rally are same hoop, 14 and 15 centers are same diameter, they would make anything pretty cheap.

Cool. I did a similar thing with a pair of 15 x 8 wagon wheels and 14" Yota centers.

You all are missing my point , this guy took a pair of wheels , worth a good bit of money and made a pair of wheels
worth a good bit less. Also if someone wanted to , they could buy these wheels , cut out the center and find a 14 inch big bolt center.
Then you have a legit 2944450 wheel , worth a good bit of money. They would have the correct part number and some good date codes.

That's my point..

We get your point, but back in the early 80s these wheels were cheap and in the junkyards here in the Midwest, they would almost give you the steel wheels, $10-15 for the rallyes, just to get rid of the tires. We had yards that saved them and would buy pickup loads for $100, we would bust them down, take the tires to neighborhood cleanup for free, then a semi driver guy we knew would haul them to motor wheel, and bring finished 15x7s back. A guy here had them do a set of 15x7 small bolt chrome rallye wheels done for an a-body he had. I could be wrong on what was used but he had a set of 15x8 done with ramcharger or supercoupe hoops for his slicks.
