there used to be a Broadway title in Alabama. whistling
Some states ( like Nebraska) are onto the 'buy a title" scheme and will not accept them. Proceed with caution and make sure you can get your $$ back. IE: Credit card or paypal maybe ?? twocents

Yep, you want to be sure your state will accept them. Last I heard (10 years ago), IL will not, and if you try, they confiscate all the paperwork and your pretty screwed on getting a title then. Most states have a way to get a vehicle titled without the paper work. Some states its not a bad process, but some states is a horror story. Gene]

Last time I called, the price was much higher than 10 years ago, too.

I have a wrecker comp owner that will file abandoned vehicle papers on any car for $250. See if you can find local friendly wrecker owner.

I used them back in the late 90's on a project car I had back then. It worked fine for me. i lived in Ohio at the time.

You also can get a title through Vermont, if Broadway doesn't work out for you. Youtube instructions.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUgdZk6sfmw
