I know there's been a few threads about the number of adds and popups on this site. It's overwhelming. Who ever gave the OK for this is killing the site. It's frustrating and I try to get on and off ASAP.. You have ruined this site for me and I'm sure others.

Addblocker is your friend.

I was on here very limited for last couple years...

But I bit the bullet and just got the free Adblock app.

Wish I would have done it a long time ago. Just download it and it does everything else.

I know the question seemed rhetorical but given my limited computer skills, I was being serious. Does it cause any problems with anything else?

I've been using it for years. As stated the only issue you may see is sites asking you to disable it(easy) to view their content. I see that as a hint their site is full of ads and i just move along.
