RIP Charlie Daniels

Just heard on the local rock station that Charlie Daniels passed at age 83. Godspeed Charlie...

I guess the devil out played him finally. A big loss to music history.

Gods speed Charlie. I hope the good Lord likes some good fiddle playing.

RIP Mr. Daniels, we needed you now more than ever, but thank you for the things you stood for!

Will be missed.

I never knew that he once played in Bob Dylan’s band.

Dylan’s voice seems horrible to me,
but he spotted Mark Knopfler’s unique guitar skills,
and also Charlie Daniel’s fiddle genius.

Big loss for everyone. He always put on a really good concert. I particularly remember one outdoors in Duquoin in the late 70s..
