I don't have a picture, but Tom Morello, formerly of Rage Against the Machine, has a Hemi Orange '71 340 Demon. I didn't know that until I heard him talking about Joan Jett thinking it was cool. He was talking about it on his satellite radio show he does.

Rik Smits the center of the Pacers when Jordan eliminated them in the 90's drove a Superbird. I see him every year at the Indy Cylinder Head swap, nice guy and you can't miss him at 7-'3" He is really into motorcycles too, but has lots of other hot rods...

A guy not too far from me built a Hemi Cuda convertible clone and a '71 Challenger R/T convertible clone (is it a clone when none existed?) that ended up in Hulks collection.
He's as close as I get to knowing a celebrity aside from Mr. Rhino.

LOL. Not exactly. But "Hey guys, my car was stolen" doesn't normally lend itself to an argument.

Re: Mopar Celebs - 06/27/20 09:50 PM

Matthew Sweet used his 70 Challenger R/T as part of the back cover on the Altered Beast cd.

The Challenger was also used in the video of The Ugly Truth from the same cd, a tip of the hat to Vanishing Point.
