I know he is not the most popular genre of the folks here, but he was a well known ground breaking entertainer for decades.

My professional audio career began with him as headliner for my first live concert in June, 1972, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The attched pic is from that show.

To keep a Mopar slant on this topic, one of the opening acts was "Vince Vance and the Valiants" biggrin
