COOL Old Photos Of My Grandfather & His Taxi:

My brother just found these today & sent them to me. My Dad's father (Grandpa Frank) started his own cab company in Detroit back in the 1920's-1930's - he was up to 4 cabs as I remember, then one of his drivers had an accident with somebody, & they sued him & put him out of business. My Grandfather passed away around 1990. Here he is in one of his cabs:

Somewhere I have a photo of my Mom as a child, standing on the running board of her Dad's '30 Chevy.
She operated the foot pump he used to repaint the car.

The second pic is definitely a Hudson. tough to tell on the first one...
