Just a heads up for those that don't know
Implementation varies from state to state but you will need a Real ID to fly domestically starting in October (or things like passports and such, but no more standard licenses).
It will be needed for:
Accessing Federal facilities
Boarding federally regulated commercial aircraft
Entering nuclear power plants
New Jersey is, of course, late to the game so people are scrambling to get their license changed over. Since my license does not expire by October for regular renewal, I had to make an appointment to get a Real ID way off on May 27th, the soonest available.
