Anyone use TAKL .... - 02/11/20 04:32 PM

an x gf up in Michigan called last night and we chatted a bit and she needed some help around her house .... like changing a light bulb in the micro wave .... she is the least DIY person on the planet ....

So I looked up TAKL for her ...

FIFTY THREE DOLLARS ! .... plus I would assume the cost of the bulb !! eek

But pacMan ... this is simple handyman service.

I totally understand if it was a licensed skilled trade like an electrician or HVAC guy. etc

Wow I just changed 3 bulbs for a neighbor for her outside light. I even took over my own screwdriver. Between bringing tools, 30 degree weather, and three bulbs I should have charged 200.00 plus tip. Lol

shock For that cost I'd just tell her to use the flashlight on her smartphone and shine it through the door glass...........at the most I'd just tape a cheap dollar store LED light on the outside glass for that matter grin wink

Being that inept comes at a price. If changing the microwave light is that important to her she's either gonna have to shell out the cash or find a handy friend a little closer than the Doc. The handyman has to eat too, and he'd starve to death running around town chasing $10 bills all day.

Speaking of cheap we had a telephone pole on fire 1.5 miles from my house last week and we lost power for three hours. I laid one of those blue free LED lights from Harbor Freight on my coffee table pointing towards the ceiling and it was still going strong three hours later. Worked like a charm.

Now IF ONLY you could figure out how to hook up that saw to one or TEN of those lights .....

You and mopX could patent that procedure up
