Toyota Tech Q - VVT Solenoid

Hoping there's a Toyota tech out there. If so, can you tell me if a 2000 Celica GT has one or two Variable Valve Timing Solenoids? Thanks!

I'm not a Toyota tech but most vehicles that old only use one for the exhaust camshaft. They used it in place of an EGR valve. Check on some parts store sites and see if they list and exhaust and an intake. Might also be called an oil control valve.

Been a minute since I worked on one of those but pretty sure there is only one. You do have a GT and not a GTS, right?

And one more question, where on the engine is it located? Is it on the left side above the alternator? Is there a screen below it that also needs to be cleaned out? Thanks!

Passenger side front next to intake and screen behind bolt under OCV, IIRC.
