Battery Cap color

Hey Folks,

I'm curious about the colors of the battery caps. I've seen yellow, red, and green. What colors are for what batteries? I assume the color was representative of what AMP/HR battery it was over the year of car. I have two that I'd like to get the correct battery cover for, but no build sheets on either car to let me know what battery came with it. Maybe someone would know what one I need based on the car. First is my 69 Charger RT/SE. Auto, Non-A/C, PW, PS, AM/FM, Rear defroster, Tach. Second is my 69 Roadrunner A12 clone. I guess the last one may be a no-brainer (I think Yellow), but I'd like some confirmation of what the correct color would be anyway. I guess too, they could be ordered with any of the batteries, no? Just want to get what would be correct for both cars. Thanks!

The first one Red Caps, the A12 - Yellow.

Fairly certain the 440HP and Hemi were standard with the biggest battery - the 70 Amp Group 27 which had Red caps.

The Yellow was a Group 24 59 Amp.

Don't forget, the group 27 is almost 2" longer than the group 24
and has a larger space between the two center caps.
Is there a cover made with this wider center spacing? Otherwise,
it would look like a group 24 with red caps, which was never made.
