70 RR... Canadian VON? Y07 car - 03/10/11 05:57 PM

This is the fender tag from the 1970 RR convertible from cars-in-barns a couple of years ago (it's the one covered in bird dung). The VON starts with a C. Is that common for a Y07 built to Canada spec car?

Yes but I must say that particular tag does not carry some of the typical markings of a 70 STL plant car. Are you positive it's the original?

As near as I know, I just saved it from the internet. I agree it's missing 2 distinct elements but if it's fake, it's a boring fake (where's the E87 and A32 ) and the codes all are pretty common to 70 RR Converts (the V6Y being a little unusual for convertibles).
