Small Paint bubbles problem after using Poorboy wax/QD - 02/16/11 10:34 PM

Hi, I have many years used turtle wax and sonax pollish on the paint and never had problems with thise products. Last summer I for the first time use the poorboy products red canuba wax and the Quick Detailer Plus. Now I have observed many small paint bobbles on the car.
Question: Is it a well know problem with poorboy product? or does the paint have another issue?

Here is some picturs of the front fender and rear spoiler. There are million of small bobbles on top area of the car .There is nothing in side the trunk and undercarriage
The car is painted in Michigan 1998.
Poorboy product is not well known here in Denmark . I have wax on five time befor winter storage.
What is the Poorboy reputation in us?

poorboy products are premier detailing products here...

I dont see how a carnuba, or any carnuba could have caused that

Looks like solvent popping to me. Caused by solvents being trapped in paint/clearcoat.

That would be my guess! But there are some other things that could have caused it as well. Besides soda blasting, 1) rust convertor
2) wiping metal or paint with lacquer thinner 3)using a metal prep unless you know how to neutralize it properly and 4) self etching primer.
The solvent popping would have happened sooner when it was painted not appear 12 years later!

I agree,I will only add that it can also be caused by moisture, and wax or polish is the last thing on earth to blame.

If the car was ever covered with plastic or a tarp or waxed in the first few years after painting that will happen. Fresh paint needs to breathe for a long time to cure

Under the stripe kit is there non reaction ,also the valance panels, panels and door frames is okay.

I have never used wax or polish on the black paint of the car and there are non reaction there too .

The bobbles problem is only visible where I have use the wax in cobination with QDplus.

Here in Denmark I living very close to the sea ,and the humiditi is high -between 60-80 percent in summer and lower in winter timer.

Is it possible I have made some kinda cover with the wax/polish overdosis ,so the paint canīt breathe and then the bobbles has startet?
