Any '69 440 M-Code Dart pics available or owner's here? - 12/14/10 02:55 AM

Looking for interior detail photos and stock engine bay photos. I would guess the 383 GTS interiors and engine bay were similar if not pretty much the same. Did the 383 use the same radiator as the M-Code 440 or was it a 063 in the 383 and 065 in the 440?

065 on mine Mike.

The 383/440 GTS Interiors were identical....as long as the 383 GTS was a console auto.

No Darts in my corner. 383 and 440 used the 065 rad as well as the 893 oil pan.

Nicely done!

Other than the chrome valve covers and some detail items the engine compartment is not too bad in that article....I bought the car from him. I finally got all the correct spark plug wire brackets figured out (there is a really weird mix of those from the factory) and some other stuff. This car does nothing but go sideways.....I like that in a car!

That's what they showed it doing in Drag Racing Magazine in the June 1969 issue and also "IT MELTED THE TIRES". They tested the A13 Dart and the A12 Road Runner M-Codes in the same issue.....

Sorry no 4-speed '69 M-Code Dart's or Cuda's (from the factory)....no Dana's for the 440 that fit the '69 A-Bodies, so all girlymatics

Keep them coming. I am doing a 69 383 4 speed car. Not original, but I'd like to make it look as correct as possible. Any more engine shots of 383's? Thanks I have never posted over here before, always on the "unlawful" side.

Mike I have about 20 pictures I took of a 69 440 dart in Vegas tha twas still in the hands of the ooriginal owner about 6 years ago , I'll get them zipped and send them over .

As stated the engine in that article isn't exactly correct , chrome valve covers being the biggest mistake.

I've got some other 440 Dart pictures that will make one cringe also
