What are you guys doing in those hard to get to areas like boxed in sections of framing and sheet metal where you have absoloutely no access other than the 1" diameter drain holes? I've got a lot of boxed in areas where I can see there is a bit of dirt and a small amount of surface rust but I have no way of getting to it without going overboard and drilling out 1,000,000 spot welds needlessly. Like inside solid frame rails. Seems a shame to have the outsides get a nice layer of epoxy primer but not be able to get at the insides. What are you guys doing in these areas? Pressure wash as best I can and live with it? Try and get some phosphoric acid coating in there??

I used a long piece of old trans cooler line, attached it to my blow gun via a rubber hose, and about 40 psi I cleaned out approx 20 lbs of sand, silt, crap, etc from my frame rails on my 74 Monaco Police car during the resto......and ran / sprayed primer and paint in as best I could ...the trans line worked great, using the end to scrape away at the inside corners and get the packed silt...but do it outside

A nearby bodyshop uses a product called "wax-oil". It is sort of like the spray foam stuff used for sealing drafty windows and walls in your house. They put an extension tube on the wax-oil can and use it to fill the rocker panels and door bottoms. Sorry I don't have pics, perhaps someone else does?

Also add a shop vac with small nozzle or home made attachment to work inside and at the holes. Yuo can feel the dirt as it is scrapped and gathered. Old coat hanger will also loosen stuf if you feel around and work it back and forth. I spent hours on a car and was amazed how much dry south carolina red clay I got out.

While I haven't tried it, Eastwood now has a product for treating the inside of frame rails.

I dont like the idea of filling the rockers up with something. I think it will just make it hold water and actuly rust it out faster.

I cleaned mine the best I could with compresed air and a shop vac. If there was surface rust I hit it with the spray stuff that turns the rust black (I think its phoshporic acid, but don't quote me, I got the semi-cheap version from NAPA), then I stuck the nozzle of the spray gun in there and put paint in there like crazy. It was messy, but in the end it is probably the best thing I could do. I am sure it is better then the factory, and that held up for 41 years, so considering how little weather it sees, probably good.

At my work we uae a product called seal out. You stick a long wand 4feet long in frame rail rockers backsides of fenders etc. The wand is attached to a siphon style gun. pull the wand out slowly and it shoots this stuff 360 degrees. Best rust fighter I know of. It seems to crawl around all over the place. Will drip out for a while ,but that is how you know if you got it good.

The product is better than the website! It has been used over here in the UK for decades and works pretty well - it is exactly designed for getting in hard to reach cavities etc and preventing rust. I'm sure it must either be available in the US or something similar.

Only thing is - that link you posted seems to be charging over $200 for a 5L can - over here you can get a 5L can for less than $50. That seems excessive to me How much would you charge to ship?
Sounds kinda like Ziebart to me too.
