Tech tip for improperly working wiper motor or switches - 10/23/10 09:41 PM

Okay before we begin the festivities, I am not an actor or good narrator for that matter and it is my very first video upload.
My filming skills are poor and it's not my fault Taylor Swift happened to be playing in the background !
I did this short clip so that people restoring their E body dash frames pay attention to the grounding
issues which can cause problems with your corner pod switches.
I get asked many times why the wiper motor does not work properly and this is one symptom of many others that can occur.
Here is the link:

Make sure your dash frame is free of paintin this area. See pic below.
Thanks for watching.

For 1 second I thought I was watching someone defuse a bomb.

"while Taylor Swift happened to be playing in the background"... Just like she "happened to making an acceptance speech". Didn't you learn anything from Kanye's incident? I think you owe her an apology.

Nice video Jules, thanks for posting. I'm sure this will save me some headaches.

Any plans for more videos?

Yes.
Better quality and sound.
Probably more videos concerning the most often asked questions.

Jules,
Nice video! Thanks for posting. You helped me out with my motor not working correctly. My ground problem was the type of screw used to secure the tab to the frame. You suggested a separate ground and it worked fine. The dash frame on my car was original, not repainted. I had what appeared to be a stainless steel screw and the motor didn't work properly. I put in a different screw and it worked fine. As always, thanks for all you do and for sharing info!!
