A12 6 Pack Manifold Original?

A12 6 Pack Manifold Original? - 08/21/08 02:54 AM

Before I start porting this manifold, does anyone know if it could be from an original A12 car? Or is it just an over the counter piece? I pulled it off my '69 Charger back in '85. I don't want to modify it if someone would need it for a restoration.

Over the counter pieces have a CH6 casting which I do not see on yours. The top of the 6 in the last position of the part # also tells me it is an original because it is slightly too long.

It is an original A12 intake.

Or, you could sell it to an A12 owner, buy yourself a brand new one and still have money left over for .

I'm not so sure it's an A12 intake. As mentioned the "6" was different (but did not look like the 6 pictured, they were slightly tipped on thier sides) and the CH6B was not on them, however if you look closely it appears that intake has been polished some on the runners, maybe the CH6B was removed?

The intake shown here is one I owned, it was an early over the counter replacement, notice the shape of the 6 and the presence of the CH6B.
