Clutch safety switch engine compartment wire. This wire connects the safety switch to the "G" terminal on the starter relay.

I only restore them.
Price is $75. New wiring, correct plating and red tube (70).
Those are all Brewer's.
I did them for him.
He sells them outright.

were does the safety switch mount? I have been all over my car and never seen any sign of a safety switch,,,, where should I be looking?

This is for an F-body, but it should give you idea of how and where the switches mount.

Mine is a '70 Dart with original switch. Looks just like the NOS one on Brewer's site. I will get a picture this week...

Dang! I need one too but that is just ridiculous for a switch. Somebody needs to reproduce it so the originals wont be made of gold anymore.

Re: 70 clutch pedal safety switch. - 03/29/10 09:24 PM

How do you test these off car to make sure they work?
Posted By: JulesdaWiperman

Re: 70 clutch pedal safety switch. - 03/29/10 09:32 PM

Ohm meter and just do a continuity test.
You can also use a test light.
It's basically just a contact inside. The housing is ground.
