Jim Ridge (Dixie Restoration) Thanks - 02/02/10 11:00 PM

Look what I just got back from Jim Ridge. My 70 #172 date coded 9 70 alternator. Look at the paint markings which are not in the normal spot.Everything done was documented on a CD that Jim sent to me.
It looks Awesome
What a Great job
Thanks
Bob Conca

Two alternators and two starters later for my cars, it still doesn't get any better than Jimmy Ridge. He's in my "good guys and buddy" club for sure.

Jim did my Alternator and did an outstanding job. It looks perfect and works even better. He even went way out of his way to help me out and I'm very thankful for that. If anybody out there needs a alternator done, don't hesitate...Jim is your man!!

Thanks again Jim!!

Jim did my starter also. I want to go on record for this but there is no one on earth that can beat his custumer service. He lets you pay after you get the part to make sure your happy on how it turns out. He tells you everything up front, and does what says he will do. He tells you what you need to know not some sales pitch. NO EXCUSES after you get back!!!! I wish more people that do this kind of work would be like Jim. I will post my before and after pics soon. He's doing my alternator right know.

Dang - looks like my beer tab is gona' be rough @ Carlisle and the Nats this year, LOL!

How much?
Alternator - $250.00 assumes a complete core with restorable rear bearing, attachment hardware and pulley. Any add ons you find out about before the work starts.

Starter - $225.00 see above.

How long?
Turnaround honestly depends on what kind of workload we have. Right now safely plan on 30 days. A little more if any machine shop work needs to be done.\

Will it work and for how long?
You'll get a CD back with the before and after detail pics as well as an amperage output shot for alts. and bendix engagement shot for starters.

We guarantee all of our starter and alternator restorations for 1 year from installation date, not when you get it back. We won't take your money until you're completely satisfied with the product.

Where are we? Dixie Restoration Parts sponsors our web link or (803)924-6247.
