B Body Mufflers

69 b body with 440 magnum ,magnum hp manifolds ,need to get exhaust done this week ,whats the best souinding muffler ,motor is built to 375 hp specs ,plan on 2 1/2 exhaust ,just can,t make up miy mind on what muffler ,don,t want glasspacks ,whats the best bang for the buck ,there is so many mufflers on the market anymore ,thanks

i had the stock repo ones on my car and always thought those sounded really good

You can buy the Walker Super Turbo #17747 which is the Hemi replacement from Advance Auto for about $40 ea.Better muffler with a lifetime warranty and they sound better than the replacements .

I will look into walker muffler ,year one mufflers look a little pricey ,thanks

I used the Walker mufflers specified for a street hemi on my 383 'Bird and they sound great.Got them at NAPA.

flowmasters..40 series...Sound great on My 440 stroker...3 inch

I had them on my car for over 8 years, even when my car sat under a carport unused for a couple years they never rotted out and they sounded great.
