Additionally a shaker six pack was offered and a non air grabber car had a shield in the front to protect fronm gunk.

Doesn't look like the splash shield would really make much of a difference in that setup since rain would shoot right over it.
That motor trend tested, 6bbl runner had a CA dealer plate on it.
