I'm trying to remember if I read that someone if repopping the Mopar Hustle Stuff/Dixie hood mounted tach.Or am I dreaming?.Thanks for any info!!

There were "reproductions" of the Ford version done in the '80s-'90s and pop up on Ebay from time to time. Sombody was adding a "pentastar" to the face and calling them "MOPAR", but that wasn't exactly correct.

a few recent posts on the subject DIXCO hood-tachs & "POOF?"

There was another post .... referenced half-way through the thread that is now GONE, it was a good thread with lots of info & pics. Anyone know why it would be totally gone?? I don't think it was that old?

The thread was only started back on May 15th, 2009, why did moparts block or delete it from their servers?

Were the pictures taking up too much bandwidth?

There are current reproductions for Pontiac, available from pretty much all the Pontiac parts distributers. You could try one and have someone modify the logos.

Moparts had server problems earlier this year, a fire at their hosting site. I'm sure some files were lost.

.........if close "enough" is good enough, and you can do without a "numbers" matching "Mopar" hood tach, Year One has several to chose from the GM section of their online catalog,.....all aprox $350 +/- a few dollars, then add either a pentastar, or DC decal to the appropriate area
