70 Charger headlight relay

Where does the headlight relay bolt up to under the dash on a 70 Charger? I know it is some where near the steering column.

It attaches to the inside bottom of the dash frame on the LH side. I believe it is the farthest outside attachment hole. The screw goes through bottom of dash frame and into relay bracket. For refernce, it will be mounted nearly directly under the headlight switch.

I do not have any pictures mounted. Here is one of the relay. Your dash frame will already have the attachment hole in it. The electrical connector faces the upward when mounted.

So the hole faces down into the dash lip and the wires face upward. Thanks!!

Yes - The connector hangs/cantilevers towards firewall, not toward front of dash.

Thanks. I just bolted it up from the dash lip. Does anybody rebuild the headlight door motors?

Yes - There are a couple guys rebuilding them. I believe at least one is a member here. Put out a new question looking for this service and you should get some replys.
