69 charger leaf spring color??

are the charger leaf springs supposed to be black or metal color? have seen both ways and want to know the nats judging way it should be?? anyone been judged and have this info? thanks

Restore them the way they were originally by documenting them during dis assembly.

Then unless you have documentation that your springs were indeed black restore them natural.

I had mine black for a while....just recently took them apart & did them using Seymour Stainless Steel...I like the color contrast now...

I have been using the Seymour Stainless Steel paint on these for years. That stuff is awesome!

I just did a Google search and found it. Even Summit Racing sells it.

Its a little cheaper from here...
