Big block dist. cap..What post was #1 from Mopar ??

On a 71 car with a big block what was the orig dist position (what way was the vac can pointing ) and what terminal does the number 1 wire go to ???? I know its 18436572 counter clockwise but what terminal did the factory put the number 1 wire on ? Im using a MP elec dist froma later year if that make a difference. I could not find this anyware in the FSM.

Usually the first or second terminal clockwise from the clip in the front.

To the lower right hand side of the front distributor cap hold down clip, around 4 O clock That is based on the oil pump drive gear installed like stock from Ma Mopar
