The rest of the stampings and cast in numbers and characters might help the experts. Maybe look for a warranty engine tag riveted in place as it could be a dealer replacement warranty engine and dealer restamp???Just throwing this out there.

Well, i think its a later re-stamped vin.. that 3 looks funky.. trans is a unstamped warrenty so cant compare.

Does the block casting date match the vehicle? Is the vin # the same as the car?

Very odd that he deleted the photo.......

Was it BS23J0B296092? If so, it has had the engine & transmission re-stamped, it also has a fake window sticker.

You can stop the guessing game its not my car, and its not the one on mecum.

I know enough, if the owner sells it i hope he tell the that its a re-stamped block.

Car is 1 of 11 k own with TX9-D32-H6XW

I'll address a few things here one at a time;

You already know that the AAR you bought from the US came with a re-stamped block, so I was sure you were asking about a different car.

There are more than 11 AARs with TX9, D32 & H6XW known than that.

In that combination though, the only one I have heard of with a re-stamped block at this point is BS23J0B306919.

Sellers are not always honest, so if the car is or does come up for sale, all potential buyers should know about the fraudulent stamp.

So back to this;
