Help with part# for B body rubber firewall hole plug - 08/03/22 04:20 AM

I "think" the part# is 2571069 but the numbers on the one original part I had were very worn.

The number suggests it was first produced for '64 models but might still be used many years after that.

Heres a discussion on Dodge Charger about these plugs. I THOUGHT they were used to fill the non AC heater box stud holes when an AC heater box was used.

That’s what they are for. I’ve got a couple of ac b bodies at the shop. I’ll see what I can did up for you this morning at the shop.

Ok, I found a good one with a clear number still on it. Sorry for the delay, Jim. Yes, you have the correct part number on your first post.

I looked at my 67 over the weekend and it has a few of them it IS a factory air car .

BUT, they are NOT used to fill firewall holes for non air cars . Much to small for that and they not in the locations a non air box would mount

I will double ck this evening and see how many there are on it and locations and see if its also in both my 66's which are non air cars

Thanks guys!

I was unsure of the part number because I can't find it in any of my parts manuals.
