A12 carb dates

I’m trying to put together some of my A12 carbs for several customers. Date codes for these cars are scattered all around. I’ve got some info alread but really need some more. If you have an A12 that you are positive has the original carbs, I would sure like to know the build date on the motor and carb dates. Last 6 of vin would help as well, but you may not want to share that. PM would be fine. The information would be not shared past me. I’ll go first with mine.

I would be very interested to know if someone has a late car build with a 1559 center carb. That is very late and I’m not sure when the last A12 was built.
The earliest carbs I have in my collection are 0729.

I have not asked but that board just does not get much attention lately. I think all boards are getting that way.

There is not a lot of data out there on original A12 carb dates versus VIN or BIW. With this said I think you are safe with finding a center carb in the 1019 ish range as you mention for your car.

The latest production line date we have for A12 carbs is 1289. The later dates are believed to be OTC, parts department pieces. I am looking for an early 0729 4394 carb if you have an extra.
