1967 Barracuda Question

I will be getting into the restoration of my brother's 1967 Barracuda coupe in the near future. I have some questions regarding the hood chrome inserts and the trunk finish panel. Was light argent used by the factory on these pieces? The trunk finish panel has a dull aluminum color and I would like to bring it back to factory appearance. Pictures would greatly be appreiated.
