My dad is currently restoring his1970 fj6, 340 4spd numbers matching cuda. What is the most authentic and proper shifter boot? We have been looking at them recently. Who has an original boot to show me? Is the molding line supposed to be front to back or side to side? Also who has the correct boot? Thanks Ryan

I've always looked for NOS boots for E bodies, as the aftermarket ones always tore installing them, or later on in use.....maybe they've improved over the years? molding line is front to back FYI

The Metro Moulded Rubber is the good one. Had one in my Challenger for 10 years and its still like new. I cant keep them in stock.
