hood Insulation Pad - 02/28/21 09:59 PM

Is this the correct way a hood insulation pad go? Or is it backwards? For a 70 Charger R/T. I bought this one about 30 yrs ago from Yearone.

The visible side should be flat, not puffy, with visible contours that mimic the hood underside.
They weren't particularly thick, nor puffy.
For a long time, the aftermarket ones were incorrect.

What company is making “correct” pads?

The correct molded style is either a product from REM or Repops. REM only sells through it network of vendors which is quite large and Repops sells both retail and wholesale.
