Hemi Exhaust Manifold Foundry Mark

Hemi Exhaust Manifold Foundry Mark - 10/26/20 09:12 PM

I have run into a wall trying to decipher the date codes on my Hemi manifolds. So, I am going to try a different route. This is what I believe to be the foundry mark looks like on mine. Does anyone have a manifold with this foundry mark that is more legible? If we can identify the foundry mark, maybe I can round up the foundry and get some info. I don't believe these were made by a corporate foundry as it seems corporate used the month-day-year format. We are going to skin this cat somehow.

I think the set I have has the same markings. I will need to get a picture of them.

These marks are on a passenger side manifold that appears to be a 1971 part, possibly a very early variant based on it having had a functional best rider .... The driver side is a 1966 YM manifold . ::.

I got a pretty decent one from the one manifold. It looks like FCF and like a P or something like it at the bottom of the triangle. Finally got the thing attached!

Another piece of minutia added to the data base.

Unless someone who worked at the foundry comes up and tells you there dating method it is going to be near impossible I think. Look at the marks on power steering pump housings. Who knows what it all means.
