I am planning to restore the original alternator for my Hemicuda. WHo could this do for me? I want a perfectly restored unit. Also, what about fuel pump? What number shall I look for the Carter fuel pump? Anybody has a restored one? Number should be 4024, correct?
Thank you for the help

The pump should be a 4024SA, we rebuild them at the shop. 401-267-0055
Also I can vouch for Jim Ridge, great guy, great work.

The correct fuel pump is 4024, but the key is the date code. There are also a lot of little variations to an original, versus a 80s or later version. Do you have your original or do you need one. I have a J8 for a 69 car, and J0 for a 71. Getting date code correct may be difficult. I have a collection of pumps and parts if you need help. Can PM me.

Thank you for the infos. Scott has done an outstanding work on my Hemicuda carbs, and will send him the fuel pump if I find one that wont cost me an arm and a leg. As for my alternator, I have asked him about restoring it, and he gave me the contact of Jim, and am waiting him to reply me.
