70 Road Runner Nose/grill question

Finally putting the grill back in my Road Runner. Was wondering if the part between the grill and the grill surround is supposed to be body color or black like behind the grill. Thanks 👍

Mine had no blackout there, but I suppose there could be some that did. My car is a Hemi Orange example.

When I redid my Satellite, I put the black behind the grille, similar to what was original on the car . . . so, looks like your car . . . not best pic, but can get the idea. . .

Mine was a tx9 car, so I’m not much help.

My Satellite was LA build car also

1970 Sport Satellite from St. Louis with blackout.

All of the that I have owned had the blackout treatment with the exception of TX9, B5, & B7. Hope this helps you.
