Source for white 7/8" door plugs

Did an exhaustive search for 7/8" flat door plugs in "white" for the front door area of my white interior 70 B body. No one seems to stock them....I can only find black. Hoping someone has found a source or maybe has some stashed away. My only option so far is to order 5000 from the manufacturer.....I only need 4. CAP PLUG is the MFG. Part number is BPF - 7/8. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

PS - I tried painting these white with SEM plastic interior paint. It did not work well. The plastic is too flexible and the paint cracked during install.

I looked for years for white ones for my GTX. Waited, hoping they would be reproed; nope.

All the original white ones were always very brittle.

My suggestion would be to use painters tape around the hole, push the plug in, paint it, pull the tape off before it dries.

I was looking for some in U1 light blue, no luck.
Oddly, the small upper door frame plugs are available from Classic in colors, but not the big honkers
I have some black ones if you need them.
Guess I should've been boning ALL of those back in the day when they were at Pick-A-Part...

Hmmmm.... I painted my original black plugs with Super White interior SEM, light mist coats/drying in between until color was achieved, I wiped them down with lacquer thinner (as I do most items being sprayed with SEM) prior to paint/SEM, don't use the SEM prep primer adhesion promoter, and give them a few days prior to install...

How much do they want for the 5000?

Price is pretty fair for 5K.....less than $0.10 each. However, I only need (4) of these. I was thinking about ordering them up and then trying to sell them. However, I'm not certain how many people
would be needing them. I see the black ones selling for $0.50 - $1.00 each on Ebay. I suppose one could try to sell the white ones for like $10 (set of 4). Then if I can sell 50 sets I would get my $$$$ back. I am thinking about it.

Mike, I used the SEM super white as well. I painted them months ago and just tried to install Wednesday. Upon pushing them into the hole the paint cracked and flaked off. I may try your method and see if I can get the paint to adhere better. Maybe a slight scuffing would help adhesion as well.

Just "soften" them up with lacquer thinner just prior to applying the first light coat, the lacquer thinner will dry faster than you can get the first coat on, I wipe down any plastic/vinyl with lacquer thinner to make the surface react/soften so it binds with the SEM paint immediately
