70 Charger SE dash woodgrain

Any thoughts on how to deal with the woodgrain on this one piece? The other pieces are nice. Thanks!

O.K. I will admit that I am thinking outside the box here; however, here goes. Take a good piece to one of those places that does car wraps. See if they can scan in the wood grain pattern. Have them print a sheet with the wood grain and apply it. If you had someone who has a decent scanner and a color laser printer you could purchase paper and do it yourself.

You are in a tough predicament. I looked for 7 years for nice used and NOS woodgrain parts for my 70 Charger R/T....finally gave up. Whether used or NOS I was not match able to match up a nice looking set. Ended up sending a complete set of original used to Instrument Specialties for resto. They came out very nice....not exactly OEM in appearance but the best I have seen to date.

Not a Charger, but an e-body woodgrain DIY resto that came out pretty much perfect.
