1970 Charger

Helping out a friend who is restoring a 1970 Charger and I need some help identifying a part. Anyone know what this is?

I do not have one, but......

That goes inside the passenger side frame rail, hold it up by the gas tank & you will see where it goes.

The gas tank fills from the drivers side, so that bracket was intended to help keep the tank filler tube inside the tank in the event of a hard side collision by occupying the empty space on the opposite side.

Agreed.....mounts to PS frame rail to protect fuel tank.
