Restoring my 74 Charger with 440. Would this car have came with resonators or were those only for six-pack and Hemi cars?

The '74 parts book shows a resonator and tailpipe together ("resonator w/tailpipe") for your application. So I would say it had resonators when new.

Your car is a "W" model in parts book language.
