70 Super Bee original wheels

70 Super Bee original wheels - 08/27/19 12:26 AM

I have a Sept built Lynch Road 70 Super Bee that is a Six Pack 4-speed car with a 3.54 rear. On the underside of the trunk lid, it has F70 B written for the spare. I guess that means it had 14" wheels (and blackwall spare) originally, but I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on whether that spare tire info narrows down what wheels would likely have come on it originally. I assume it probably had Road Wheels on it, but I'm not even sure what 14" wheel & wheel cover options there were for these. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

1970 Coronet / Super Bee hub cap / wheel cover / Rallye & Road wheel info on the page at http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/DealershipDataBook/1970/70_Coronet0010.jpg

the "F70 B" indicates F70-14 w/RWL Goodyear Polyglas tires

red brake drums would indicate ROAD or RALLYE wheels (14x5.5" wheels & 14x5.5" black steel spare)

unpainted brake drums would indicate hub caps or full wheel covers (14x6.0" wheels including spare)

Thank you for the replies. I didn't think about paint on the brake drums. That narrows it down.
