pics of an original 70 E Body water valve needed.

Hi all:
Searching for one of these for my 1970 318 auto. M46 Barracuda. The parts book says it is unique to 1970. My car did not have one at all when I got it, aftermarket or otherwise. Does anyone have an original(50 years old now!) or even an NOS one that they can post pictures of? They may be the same for B Body, I need to look at my parts book tonight. I've never seen one so it is hard to search for one, when I don't really know what I'm looking for!

Isn't the 70 bakelite water valve the same for all Ebody AC vehicles regardless of engine size ??? If so the valve was used for various models through the 70s..Here's a link to an NOS valve{not the correct Ebody bracket}.. For 100% correct the 70 stamping number is probably a superseded one and might need changed..NOS bakelite water valve

Keep in mind the bakelite valves were prone to cracking/leaking hence the reason for the "all metal" replacements that were sold in later years... Here's an aftermarket mounting bracket for the valve...

I always thought E bodies were all the same 1970 thru 74

B body on the other hand did change almost year to year

"Prone" to cracking? More like "Guaranteed" to crack. They usually all crack around those self-threading screws. No logic to putting an NOS in a car, then exposing it to hot coolant. How many really need a "fully" functional heater system in a restored car; barely, if at all driven in colder seasons.

Here's one I sold some years back & used the all metal one for year round use.
