71 charger vinyl top

Does the vinyl top go completely under the quarter window belt moldings or just a small portion of it ?
Top was gone when we started this
the car has the full belt moldings on top of the doors and quarter window areas.

When I install a vinyl top I like to have the mat'l go as far as possible pass the nail head trim clips or clip holes, but not under the lowest/furthest part of the installed trim, the vinyl will shrink, and if you don't leave enough it may pull past the trim as it slowly shrinks, so more is better in this case
