71 Cuda Rocker Mouldings- Yes or NO - 03/06/18 04:16 PM

When did cars come with this trim?

I plan on doing a 71 Cuda Convertible clone and wonder if this mouldings is
A necessary addition or preference.

They seem to be for 71-2 and are rather pricey NOS

Thanks

if you want to get that rocker molding cheap go to your local chevy dealer and order a pair for a 69 Camaro. same exact molding was used on 69 dart , 69 Camaro and 71 cuda .

Cloning a 1971 Cuda Convertible you will need the rocker trim, door and quarter window trim on top of the door and quarter, rear panel trim four pieces and all is coded on a CUDAs fender tag and broadcast sheet. Also the louvers for the fenders. You will have to weld in the proper studs or use the body repair studs for all trim.
