The place that Graveyards Cars uses is Instrument Specialties which is owned by Mike Mancini who also owns American Muscle Car Restorations. I personally have not had any work done by either place but I have been at MCACN and been able to look at cars that they have restored, he has had cars on lifts so you can get up close quite impressive. I would consider
American Muscle Car Restorations to be one of the top restoration shops. Call them and find out how long it would take to restore your dash cluster.

When I called to find out how long it would be to have my Tic-Toc-Tach reworked with modern internals,I was told it would be almost a year wait to get it back.

Has anyone had work done by Redline Gauges in CA? Good/Bad?

Instrument Specialties restored the dash in my 71 Charger R/T and it looks amazing. I liked it so much that they're currently restoring a 71 340 Duster for me. The best shops always have a long wait time. I have a Challenger T/A that came from the west coast with a restored dash from Redline that was done almost 10 years ago and it looks and functions perfectly.

Redline has done a few clusters for me in the past & all were stellar quality with the volt meter & VDO tach internals upgrades. Called Shannon last year to see if he could do my 64 cluster & was told it'd be at least a 6 month wait.

I can't say as to the quality because they have not gotten my 70 RR cluster back. They are slow. Expect double the time they quote you. And they charge your credit card as soon as they get your cluster and give you an estimate on work needed and cost. They are not slow with that!

Wow, they must have a ton of business. Mine did not take that long, but it was a few years ago.

I used Auto instruments in Virginia to restore my 70 e body ralley cluster. They did a nice job on mine no complaints here. This was about 8 years ago. The gauges still look and work good.

Hi Guys,

I appreciate all of the compliments greatly.

I am going to post shortly in a separate thread regarding my company Instrument Specialties and current timelines etc as there is some misinformation written here.

Thanks
Mike Mancini

Redline did my 67.. I would have had Mancini do it if I lived closer to the east coast, but living in Oregon I felt that there was less possible shipping damage to be had by having the closest shop do the work... Mine was done probably 10-12 years ago by Redline and it still looks like new..

Gcar did the resto on the plastic dash pieces and it still looks like new..

Most people who look at my car seem to spend a lot of time admiring the dash, so I have always felt it was money well spent..

Between dash pad, gauges, work by gcar, new wire harness, I have appx 3K into that part of the car ( I did all of the disassembly/assembly of the dash)

Hope this helps
