Who know of another place besides Dixie Resto to send an alternator for resto?

He's the best, why not go with them?

Dixie is great, he did my last two and they look awesome. If that doesn't work for you Plum Crazy Garage (chuck@plumcrazygarage.com) does nice work as well.

What is the issue? Cost?

I've had Jim to three alternators and a starter and the work has been fantastic

Almost NOS does all my starter and alternator work. Top notch and is exactly like it was originally.

Just a quick note to clarify our situation: I have a corneal ulcer in my left eye that is being treated. While this is ongoing - and with an uncertain outcome - We are not accepting any new work. I am hopeful this health issue is resolved and things get back to "normal." At the same time I do not want anyone to be inconveienced waiting on us to complete a restoration. I have no idea how long it will take to get this thing healed and ready. WE WILL meet our current in-house custmer restoration requests and if y'all have any further questions, feel free to call us @ (803) 924-6247. Thanks, Jim Ridge & Thomas Livingston - Dixie Restorations

Hi Jim
I hope that your eye issue heals in a timely manner. Your work on my alternator was out standing.

Thanks, Buddy. Feels a little better today but it's a long term healing process, with an uncertain outcome.
