Some might think that it is over the top but some restores want the comfort of knowing that
no bolt has been left untouched. I noticed that when I got the arms they squeaked when I
moved the pivot point up and down. The springs had some rust that would rub against the
stainless housing. There was some oxidizing issues also. After the rebuild , they feel
brand new and they pivot smoothly.

Can you also rebuild the articulated arm on a 71 Cuda where they get loose and scratch the lower windshield molding?
