70 GTX - Air Grabber / Holley Bowl Vent

70 GTX - Air Grabber / Holley Bowl Vent - 10/28/16 01:43 PM

I just picked up a 6bbl, air grabber - my car only has a single nipple valve cover breather. So the center car bowl vent has nothing to plug into.

Is this correct? I know there are 3 nipple breathers, but I believe those are for cars with a vent line back to the tank.

So, should my car have a 2 nipple breather or does the center carb vent somewhere else ?

If your car has N95 then it has the vent line back to the tank, 3 nipple breather and a carb bowl vent.

If it's not a California car then it has a single nipple and there is NO carb bowl vent hookup. The vent goes out the top of the bowl to air.

I'm guessing you most likely have the wrong carb, probably a 4144

4144 is the CA AT trans carb and Holley used that as the generic replacement for all center carbs - that's why you find so many of them all over the country

What you need is 4376 for a non-CA automatic
