need good pics of "8" in date code of 70-1 BB left exh manif

im needing good clear pictures of the number "8" in the date code of a 1970-1971 big block HP left exhaust manifold cast # 2951865

engine on the stand....will shoot you a pic when I get home this evening..

If that`s not good enough I can dig out one that has very little miles on it. The numbers are really sharp on it as I recall.

There is a picture of one on page 2 of BB engines for sale, but I suspect you need a better picture.

Well what I thought was an '8' is a '6' upon closer inspection. Sorry I can't help.

I felt I got lucky finding a good 8 - guess it helps when you have 5 440 Sixpack cars to look at - LOL
