383 Four Barrel Emblem Application

383 Four Barrel Emblem Application - 07/07/16 04:25 AM

I have a 383 four barrel emblem with three studs on the back. PN: 3504233
Through searches I have not found what this fits. I was guessing it was 1970's Challenger and Charger but don't know for sure. Photobucket is messing up and I can't put a picture up yet.
Thanks for any help

My JH27N0B Challenger has 383 Four Barrel emblems on the fenders. I'm not sure if they have 3 studs but probably do, and most likely that's what you have.

3504223 is '70 Challenger

3505444 is '71 Challenger

I thought there was a # for '71 Charger w/2 soldered on pins (I think I have a couple around here), but cant find it/them. work

It is also used on 1970 and 1971 Plymouth Barracuda's which came equipped with a 383+4. They are mounted on both fenders about half way up the leg of the fender.

How big are the studs? Are they big like this or smaller?

I believe those 3 studs are for the shaker bubble, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That's what it looks like to me. But I have only seen "383 Magnum" shaker emblems before. Would they have done "383 Four Barrel" for non-R/T Challengers? Shaker emblems have the three studs and the studs are longer and thicker (I think).

here's the 340-FOUR BARREL SHAKER emblems (the "U" to "R" pin spacing is different compared to the OP's emblem)
& my 383-MAGNUM SHAKER emblems

the pins are larger than the ones for sheetmetal scope

and a pic of a 383-FOUR-BARREL emblem that had two soldered pins on the back, but don't know the part number - I have more pics of them somewhere????
